I've been an entrepreneur for 19 years. I've built and
sold a business and now I'm onto a new venture. The Mentors
Circle is a valuable resource. Despite the diversity of our
group, we all face similar challenges. The structure of the
Circle lets us address those challenges. We share, learn, and
are inspired by each other. |

Can anyone start a circle?
Yes. The Mentors Circle, Clearing Your Path to Business Growth
and The Mentors Circle Leader's Guide have been written so that
just about anyone can start a local Mentors Circle™. All the
steps are there for you to follow.
How many people do I need?
Between six and fourteen people form a great Mentors Circle™.
Any more and it gets unmanageable. Any less and you should be
certain that people are committed to attending every month or
the value of the group dynamic could be lost.
How much does it cost?
That depends on you. Once you have the book, you have all the
information you need. However, if you are going to lead a group
yourself, you may want compensation for your time and charge
members accordingly. If the group is a cooperative, there may
be costs for a room or snacks that should be shared. However,
you can also meet at each other's homes with the monthly host
supplying the snacks making it a no cost service
How do I find members?
This is all set out in The Mentors Circle, Clearing a Path to
Business Growth. Essentially, you are looking for other entrepreneurs
and business people who you respect - people whose opinion you
value.
Where should the meetings take place?
You can hold your Mentors Circle™ at the homes of members, at
clubs, community centres, libraries… any place where you can
all focus your attention on your businesses for two straight
hours.
When should we hold our meeting?
That varies. Some people prefer a meeting of this nature in
the early morning as it gets them charged for their day. Others
find it easier to find the time in the evening. This is a decision
of your group. All you need is two consecutive hours. Its always
a good idea to add a half hour for informal chat before or after.
